A brand new compilation is being released by Sony/BMG which will include for the first time, the new digitally re-mastered versions of the songs taken from all 10 APP albums. Also included on this new compilation is an alternative mix of 'Separate Lives' and a previously unreleased and never before heard track called 'No Answers Only Questions'.

Thanks to all the fans who voted earlier this year for their favourite tracks to be included on this new compilation. This has dictated the track listing along with the hits and best known tracks. You may like to view some of the votes and quotes kindly provided by the fans which helped create this compilation.

There are going to be a variety of different versions of this Compilation for different markets (with translated sleeve notes and different track listings), but all will be available to buy through this website.

Triple & Double CD Compilations

The first version of this compilation to be available is a Dutch 3CD set entitled 'The Dutch Collection' which was released on 2nd October 2006, followed shortly after by an adapted Italian package in November 2006 entitled 'Days Are Numbers'. The sleeve notes will be in the relevant Dutch or Italian language. In January 2007 an English version will be made available entitled 'The Essential Alan Parsons Project'. These first three triple CD versions of the compilation will be the most comprehensive including the most songs.

An English language double CD version and possible others will also be released in 2007, however the Dutch, Italian and English 3 CD sets will contain the most tracks available on any of the new APP Compilation versions.
